February 7, 2013
We answered roll call my guessing how much money we would make at the auction.  Peggy Wintjen was the winner.  Our guests were Colton Kessler, Karen Taylor, and Sue Ostlie.
Next month will be a work night for the fund raiser quilt. The meeting will start at 5:00. Bring your sewing machines and finger foods. The committee will provide the drinks.
In new business:
Peggy told us about a retreat in Thayer on March 22-23. Cost is $20 per person. The facility and a bunk will be provided. There will be a challenge project if you wish to participate (bring five 1/2 yard pieces of fabric). Sign up if you are interested.
Carolyn announced that the Donna Thomas workshop will be held August 24, from 9-3.  She will teach us to use her new ruler in a split geese project.  The project will make a 21" x 21" table topper.  Cost for the class is $35 for guild members.  You may purchase a kit for $20, and is available in three colors: purple, red, and blue.
