Ronnie Bringle presented a program on three dimensional needle felting. She shared about the history of needle felting, the tools used for felting and gave a demonstration of needle felting. Ronnie is offering a three session needle felting class beginning on October 18th, 2008. (location to be announced). The fee of $65 includes three 4 hour classes plus all materials and tools to complete 4 progressive projects. A non-refundable deposit of $30 is due September 18th. Block of the Month Project
Tammy G. was the winner of August's BOM drawing. To be eligible for the drawing, members were to complete the next step in the table runner project; make the 9 patch blockes and the strips around the center squares. The finished table runner top must be brought to the September meeting in order to be eligible for the next drawing. Stay tuned for pictures of this project!!
Announcements
The 3-Corner Shop Hop has been set for September 4-7 , 2008. Each person will be responsible for getting themselves to the shops in Parsons and Independence. A group will leave Saturday morning to go to the remaining 10 shops.
The Sewing Expo is being sponsored by the Extension Office and people will be going on October 24th. Each person is responsible for two meals and gas. Please contact Nancy Kessler if you're interested in the Sewing Expo or 3-Corner Shop Hop.
