SPRING TEA!
The April meeting of the guild was the annual Spring Tea. We had wraps, broccoli salad, fruit salad, and mini-bundt cakes for dessert. Peggy started off our event with a prayer.
Nita led us in a short meeting.
The company was good, the food was tasty, and the decorations were cute. Pretty good way to spend an evening.

The tables were decorated with dress form pincushions made by the committee.
Each person attending the tea received a dress form pincushion.
Nita led us in a short meeting.
- Fund Raiser Committee Report: We will be having another worknight soon.
- Nancy announced that next month's meeting would be the time to sign up for committees. She reminded us that it takes everyone's help to make the guild a success, and to be ready to sign up.
- Peggy announced that the retreat in Thayer will be postponed until next fall.
BLOCK OF THE MONTH
Nancy, Gloria, Mary Ann, Betty Schneickert, and Karen O'Brien all made the wool needle keepers for this month's BOM. Karen won topstitching needles in the drawing.
The project for next month's BOM will be a journal cover.
Carolyn encouraged all of us to keep a journal of our sewing activities.
