The guild welcomed Julie Traxson as a new member.

SHOW AND TELL 

Peggy showed us her completed BOM quilt from 2012.  It was beautiful!!

Peggy had also made a great bag.

                                       

Ruth had made many scarves in a  variety of colors.

It was a pleasant evening among friends.

Block of the Month

Ruth won the drawing for the block of the month for having made a luggage tag.  Next month's BOM will be a thin-strip placemat.  The example and directions are at the guild.

Guild Spring 2013 Challenge

Carolyn Green presented a challenge to the group to be completed by the May meeting. There will be an independent judge and a prize will be awarded to the winner. 

Challenge rules:

1.  Project cannot be larger than 20" x 20"

2.  Project must be quilted and have finished edges.

3.  You may only use ONE color.

Fundraising Committee
Next  month will be the guild's auction.  This is a fun way to raise money for the guild.  Please bring any items that you would like to donate to the bin before the February meeting. Bring your money and your friends to the auction for some valuable finds!!  All money raised will go to the guild treasury.
