Rita Foster presented a program on feed sacks and how they were used to make quilts, clothing and even bedding. It was a very interesting program and she shared items that she and her family used when she was a child. Here is a link that tells more about the history of the feed sack.

Each member that would like to participate in the birthday bag exchange needs to put a sewing related gift and a signed card in a brown paper bag and bring it to the June guild meeting.
